Werner Blitz and Space Police

Werner Blitz, Carl Blixt and a space police trooper. Together these guys will go out in the Galaxy and fight crime, robots, walnusians, lavamen, ominous blobs and much more!
vikotnik of Lead Adventure fame has painted Werner Blitz and done a mighty good job of it.
I'm hoping to paint eyes like that if I ever get an optivisor... don't know if vik's using that but I would surely need to.
This is my design for the Space Police. I hope you like it. It's not overly interesting but manegable.

The sides of the helmet is meant to look like a police siren going... if you're in doubt.

Saxon haters!

Yaaaarh! The Saxon pirates are ready to board the shore. OR if they've already boarded it in the setting we're playing, then they'll board some maidens instead - at a farmhouse near you! In fact maybe you've just been stabbed to death on a spear or you're hiding under you bed while they're pillaging and raping... Be ware!

Saxon Hearthguard

Yeah baby! The Saxon Lord is now able to go to battle with a group of hearth guard that'll put the ax back in Sax for the enemy!
I tried to make up some suitable shield designs... in the end I went with everything from Sauron eye over Tim Burton to 'classic Viking lolly'

Moles of Grimdark

The Moles of Grimdark hail from the planet Grimdark in the Psylosobin quadrant. The native giant moles have been used as inspiration for the chapter's logo and their general way of warfare.
They rely heavily on digging, mining, drilling and bulldozing their way to the enemy and sometimes just undermining entire forts to the surprise of unsuspecting targets.
The logo of the Grimdarkers - The Giant Mole of Grimdark.

I went for a quick and dirty very weathered theme to fit the fluff. Basicly I just left the black undercoat in place, washes and weathered my way to the finish.

Retro Sci-fi 2012

In 2012 I started painting up a Retro Sci-fi project for Horisont 2014 or 13... depending how far I get and if I ever find any rules worth playing.

Cygnus the Robot Master and his killer robots. Miniatures by Killer B Games and Hydra Miniatures.

Carl Blixt - the hero of my Campaign. Again a Killer B sculpt.

Walnusian Prinsesses by me.

Commander Algot and his Ethnic Space Criminals
Paul Romney and Mitt Ryan - Lost space farers

I painted my first tank for my Soviets. Initially I hadn't varnished and smoked the tracks so the mud looked completely dry. I'm happy with the result now.
Unfortunately the scale is different from the one my regulars use so I guess this is mostly to put in the cabinets or scenarios in which it is the only piece of armour present.
Needless to say it was a quick job. Green undercoat, Vallejo seipa wash, drybrush with off white and then rust and mud on the tracks.
Rust was simple M*I*G* powder in water applied in generous amounts all over the tracks. Didn't really look convincing... a lot less should probably be used.
The mud was made from wall paint, sand and filler. I kept on adding filler til I got a fairly high viscosity that could still be delivered by brush.
Once dry I painted the areas that were going to be wet with Vallejo Smoke and then gave them a thick coat of Model Master Semi-Gloss varnish.

Saxon Shaman/Wicca priest

I've painted up this little gem by Rogue Miniatures. It's called the Hermit

I quite like it and I think it's going to work just fine for my Saxon horde

N'thabi village

A Goa'uld jaffa guard is guarding the village of the N'thabi completely oblivious to the danger approaching from the back.

For indeed - the SG-1 team under Jack O' Neil is coming to whoop the Jaffa's ass.

About a year ago I started painting my Stargate 15mm miniatures from GZG that have been lying around since forever.

My plans for the game are quite involved but I hope to maybe play a few games in the not too distant future. The force of SG is that you can use just about anything for it. As soon as you go through the gate there no way of telling what's waiting on the other side.

In this particular case everything from N'thabi, over giant ants to dinosaurs will be waiting on the other side. ;-)

Z is for ombie

I'm going to help Dr. Zombie from Lead Adventure to paint up some zombies for a zombie game he wants to run at Horisont V. These are the first ones I've done.

Back at History! Dark Ages and WWII

Back at logging!

I'm going to give blogging another attempt. These here are my archers for an upcoming Dux Britannarium game / campaign with Janner of Janner's Jaunt. I'm very much looking forward to this and have several more coming soon.

Also for gaming with janner ( I suppose) here are some WWII Russians. They may or may not stumble upon Weird elements.. but we will see. So far I'm just enjoying painting random stuff that I've had lying around for ages.
